For the route Hirschberg-Polaun in 1926 eleven electric motor railcars were delivered by LHW and Siemens-Schuckert. The populary named “Rübezahl” ET 1011-1021 had 52 seats and was used with reconstructed standard cars EB (iron type). In peak times of excursion traffic 3 motor railcars with up to 12 wagons in 210 m long trains were used. After the war out of 3 reminded “Rübezahl” railcars the ET 89 04 was created at the repair works München-Freimann.
The model has like the pattern corresponding sliding doors which can be opened with the door-handle. At the front of the DRG-version there are imitations of the control cable which can be connected with the belonging wagons.
