Build by Maffei superheated steam goods train locomotive. From 1919 to 1922 225 pieces of this economical but efficient C-coupler were delivered to “bayrische Länderbahn”.

DRG BR 54
As BR 54 15-17 this machines was taken over without exception by “Deutsche Reichsbahn”.

DB BR 54
Many of this locos withstand World War 2 and came to the DB with the exception of a few locomotives. First shut down in 1966 the 54 1632 at Nuremberg the last of category G3/4H.
