The DB BR 012 was developed out of the BR 01.10. Out of the 55 locomotives which had survived World War II, 33 were equipped with oil-burning in the beginning of the sixties. Together with the locomotives of the BR 10, the oil-burning BR 012 belonged to the strongest steam-engine of the DB.

Our model of the BR 012 reflects its state in the middle of the sixties. Because of the small number made, this model is a rarity today.

This series was ordered by Fulgurex.
