In 1950, the first 1'C1' passenger train locomotive was delivered to the Bundesbahn by Hentschel. The design was based on a model from 1941, but it was a welded construction. The last loco of this type was the 23 105 and actually the last steam engine delivered to the Bundesbahn.

Our models reflect the different variations of the cab and the boiler instrumentation of the 23 001, 23 046 and the 23 105.
