Between 1918 and 1925, a total of 23 machines of this type with four cylinders were built by Hartmann in Chemnitz. After 1945, twenty of these locos remained in service for many years at the DR. In the middle of the sixties, the 19 015 and the 19 022 were equipped with new boilers and were engaged as brake locos at the Research Institute in Halle. The 19 015 was also converted to oil burning.
We made our models in different variants: National Railway colored green and the DRG 19 017 as displayed in the Railroad Museum in Dresden.
We have made the DR 19 015 with oil burning and five axeled tender. This version differs very much from the standard model.
